Apart from CPWD, this Schedule of Rates is used as a guide by many Departments, Institutions, Public Sector Undertakings, Architects, Builders and Contractors etc. CPWD Schedule of Rates was first published in the year 1931, followed by a number of revisions/publications from time to time in order to bring it in line with the prevailing materials,technologies and market rates. Delhi Schedule of Rates were revised and issued in subsequent years viz 1977, 1981, 1985, 1989, 1993, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2010 (Reprint), 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2016. Last Delhi Schedule of Rates was published in the year 2016. Revision of this DSR has become necessary due to change in wages of labour & price of materials, adoption of new construction technologies & materials as well as implementation of GST.
