Environmental Science

The entire Filipino culture is portrayed in the song. We fight for our rights and take pride in our
nation by nature. Masdan Mo Ang Kapaligiran by Asin is a good representation for the current situation
poof our environment.

Concentrating on the music, the phrase "Hindi nga masama ang pag-unlad at malayu-layo na rin
ang ating narating" hinted at both economic and technological advancements. We can conclude that
Filipinos' lives were good and comfortable. The song, however, highlighted the negative aspects and the
actual state of the world. The sad reality is people are more concerned with how to advance technology
than if doing so will negatively impact the environment. This song opened everyone's eyes, and it also
helped us understand that it's not too late to take care of our environment. This song seeks to teach us
the importance of protecting our environment in order to live peacefully and that we must have courage
in order to be a part of this change.

I believe that if we all work together and exercise discipline, we will be able to find the right
solution. We must protect our environment not only for ourselves, but also for future generations. Keep
in mind that we can’t live without nature but nature can live without us.
