out to her but he could not speak at all.Iggy the Iguana 4

Isabel. When Iggy had almost reached Isabel, he saw a huge fishing net
floating next to her. She could get stuck in the net.
“| must warn Isabel, but how?” thought Iggy.Iggy the Iguana 5

The EndLong ago, there lived a king who wore many rings on his
fingers and gold chains and necklaces around his neck.
He was called King Ring. He was a generous king who
gave away precious rings and chains to the poor people
who visited his castle.
@ hitps/vdntin/uz2nvKing Ring 10
King Ring also loved songs and sang melodiously. He
would clang his chains and rings ‘ng-ng-ng' to create
music to accompany the songs. Every evening, his palace
would echo with the sound of music. The king would sit on
aswing and sing, “I love to sing.
My name is King Ring.”
@ https//vcntin/uz2nvKing Ring 11
Tales of the king's precious rings and chains spread far
and wide. A gang of robbers heard the stories. They
thought of tricking King Ring. The gang reached the
palace dressed as poor beggars. They lied that their family
lived in a village far away and that nobody had food to eat
or clothes to wear. The greedy gang of robbers thought
that the king would give each of them a ring. But the
generous King Ring was not foolish.
@ hitps//vdntin/uz2nv12
The king announced that he would take care of their
family. He realised that they were lying, so he did not give
them any rings. Instead, they had to carry pots of food and
bundles of clothes and distribute them to all the poor and
hungry people in the kingdom. They saw what actual
hunger and poverty was and felt ashamed for being so
greedy.King Ring 13
The gang of robbers stopped robbing and started singing
instead. One day, the king invited them to his palace to
sing. He was happy that the greedy robbers had changed.
Since they had become singers, he gave each one of
them a beautiful ring. The robbers had learnt that greed
does not pay. Itis better to lead a simple
and honest life.
The EndThe Bees and The Bear 14
In a beautiful meadow, on a big green tree, lived a colony
of bees in a beehive. The hive, made of beeswax, had
honeycombs and thousands of tiny bee rooms. Queen
bee Buzzy ruled and her colony of busy bees collected
honey from flowers near and far, to fill the honeycombs.
The bees loved going for flower hunts together.
They buzzed from flower to flower to gather the
sweet nectar to make honey. Once the bees
had as much nectar as they could carry, they would fly
back to the hive. They would feed some of the nectar to
the baby bees and store the rest to make honey.
@ hitps/vdntin/uz2nvThe Bees and The Bear 15
One day, when most of the bees were away on a flower
hunt, a hungry bear went by. He saw the beehive and
thought of honey. He loved honey and wanted to eat it.
He grabbed a long branch and tried to reach the beehive.
He wanted to steal all the honey. The Queen bee was
watching him from the hive. She knew it was time for the
bees to return from their flower hunt. She began to think
of a plan to save the hive.
@ hitps:/vdntinfu22nvThe Bees and The Bear 16
Soon, the bees came flying back. Queen Buzzy buzzed
angrily at the bear as she saw her army of bees returning.
She commanded the bees to sting the bear and to chase
him out of the meadow, so that he would never think of
stealing their honey again. The angry bees swarmed
towards the bear and chased him. The greedy bear tried
to swat the bees with his paws and snap the branch at
their hive again.
@ hitps:/vdntinfu22nvThe Bees and The Bear 7
“We shall teach you a lesson,” buzzed the bees. When the
greedy bear saw so many stings pointing towards him, he
started running away. He ran as fast as he could as the
bees chased him with an angry buzzing ‘zzz’ sound.
hitps/vcntin/u22nvThe Bees and The Bear 18
Before the bear could get away, the bees had gathered
around him. “Attack!” commanded the queen bee. The
bees stung the bear all over his body. The bear cried in
pain as he tried to run away. The bees chased him until
he plunged into a stream and dove under water. The bees
could not find the bear and returned to their hive. After
some time, the bear emerged out of the water, stinging
from the bee stings. He had learnt his lesson and took an
oath of never stealing honey or anything else ever again.
The EndThe Witch and the Cook 19
Once upon atime, there lived a witch who was always
hungry. She wore a long black hat. She had a flying
broomstick and a magic wand. When she waved her wand
and made the ‘oo-00’ sound, the broomstick flew high up
in the sky. One bright summer morning, the witch was
feeling hungry again, but she did not like to cook. So she
sat on her broomstick and waved her wand making the
‘oo-00' sound.The Witch and the Cook 20
As she flew over the green fields and houses in search of
food, the witch saw a cook standing near a barbeque grill
in the garden. She smelled the delicious food that he was
making and suddenly, she thought of a plan.
@ hitps/vcntin/uzenvThe Witch and the Cook 21
She told the cook that she had a magic potion that she
wanted to give him. But, he would have to sit on her
broomstick with her and visit her castle. She would give
him the magic potion that would make his food even more
delicious. The cook was hesitant at first, but he agreed.
The witch tapped her wand on the broomstick and ‘oo-00"
they went. The witch and the cook flew over large green
fields and tall mountains to reach the witch's castle. The Witch and the Cook 22

Once they reached, the cook asked her forthe magic
potion, but the witch laughed and cackled. She told the
cook that he had been a fool to believe her. Now, he would
have to cook for her every day. The cook was frightened,
but he thought of an escape plan. The Witch and the Cook 23
Tie cook told the witch about his secret recipe. He said that
his food tasted good because he added some special
powder to it that a kind fairy had given him. He told the
witch that he could not prepare delicious food for her
because he did not have the special powder with him. It was
at home. He said that if she wanted to eat tasty food, they
would have to go back to get it. The witch got out her
broomstick, and they flew back to the cook's garden. The Witch and the Cook 24
As they were about to land, the cook jumped on the
broomstick and broke it into two pieces. Off fell the witch on
the ground. The cook quickly picked up the two broken
pieces of the stick and threw them into the barbeque grill.
The witch looked in horror as it lay there, burning. The Witch and the Cook 25
Now, she would have to walk home. And she would have to
cook her own food! The witch never tried to
trick anyone else ever again.

Little boy Yogi lived with his mother, Yasmine, a yoga teacher. Every
morning Yasmine would try to teach Yogi yoga but Yogi just did not
like it. Though he wanted to do what his mother showed him, he fell
on his face while doing the different poses. Yasmine was sad that
though she was a yoga teacher, she could not teach her own son.
One day, she thought of trying something new. She took Yogi on a
jungle safari because he loved animals. They carried their yoga
mats and wore yoga outfits.
ittos:/vdntin/uZ2nvYogi Learns Yoga 27
In the jungle, Yasmine rolled out the yoga mats and asked
Yogi to pose like every animal they saw. Since Yogi loved
animals, he wanted to copy them. Yogi saw a balancing
monkey who stretched its legs and grabbed its own feet.
Yogi lifted himself up and copied the monkey.
Yasmine was delighted to see Yogi strike a perfect yoga
pose. She gave Yogi a yo-yo, and the balancing monkey
a banana.Yogi Learns Yoga 28
Next, they saw a cobra gliding in the grass. It slithered all
around and lifted its head up to bare its fangs. Just like the
cobra, Yogi struck another pose. His legs firmly touched the
mat, and he held his head high. Yasmine helped him adjust
his hands straight under his shoulders. Later, she gave him
some yellow bananas to eat with yoghurt.Yogi Learns Yoga 29
Then, Yogi saw a gorilla bending backwards and gripping
its heels. Yasmine helped Yogi bend backwards, and he
just looked at the gorilla relaxing his neck. Yogi liked
looking at everything upside down.Yogi Learns Yoga
Next, Yogi saw some frogs by a pond. Yogi copied them
and sat with his hands in front and feet flexed wide. He
looked like a frog waiting to stick his tongue out and
catch a fly. Yasmine saw him and laughed with joy. She
promised Yogi his favourite snack, yellow pineapple pie
and yoghurt salad.

Finally, Yogi spotted a bear. It stood with its legs together
and arms stretched out. Yogi did the same. "That's a
perfect Y," shouted his mother in excitement and scared
the bear away. "Yes!" replied Yogi, nodding his head and
laughing out loud. Finally, Yogi had learnt yoga.

Yasmine taught Yogi some breathing techniques. She
asked him to stand like a flamingo on one leg and inhale
and exhale deeply. “That makes me feel so calm,” said
Yogi. Yasmine knew that she was a good yoga teacher,
but she was thankful to the animals for being better
teachers and for helping Yogi learn yoga.
