Managing Director

The aim of this proposal is to take into consideration the possible uses of technology in
the Human Resources Management Department. It is based on opinions and suggestions given
by department members, and also on my personal observation as head of the department.
The employees of our department have used technological equipment until now and has
proven very effective and has made work easies. We have been using mostly computers and
faxes in order to keep evidence, to register the human resource and to create legal documents
requested.
The software and hardware we are currently using are becoming increasingly obsolete
and definitely call for modernisation. Therefore, the purchase of up-to-date programmes and
equipment (higher-performance desktop PCs, as well as broadband connection) is of utmost
importance for our department. At the same time, we would like to establish a digital system
that will make the department more effective, assigning digital folders that can be accessed by
the employees themselves whenever they need specific documents, or when their personal file
needs updates.
These elements will definitely bring efficiency and development to our company. The
Human Resources Management Department members will be able to work faster, more
effectively and make greater use of technological innovations, and at the same time, we would
offer our employees a high standard cooperation with the department.
The new system will signify an updated manner of operation, and the staff will need
training. Taking this into consideration, it is highly recommended that department members
attend some courses held by IT specialists.
In conclusion, the technology development of our Human Resources Department will
create a great context for our company to evolve and increase, due to the efficiency that the
new technological improvements.
