Being a competent and effective teacher needs a significant amount of effort, traits, abilities,

and a willingness to experiment with different teaching methods. Ongoing professional

training with TEYL is, in my opinion, extremely valuable, vital, and crucial.

Teachers must believe and feel that they are not alone in their problems with classroom
management, professional development, and growth.

Obtaining a degree or diploma does not imply that we have completed our studies. We are
merely at the start of a lengthy journey.
Experienced or novice teachers require training, attending conferences, workshops and
teacher meetings in their cities or towns. They should be more demanding and find new ways
to become better teachers for this generation who is constantly becoming self-confident and a
very good user of Technology.

They should strive to become better teachers with 21st-century skills and competences. They
should continue to develop professionally every day, and there is no reason why they
shouldn't. The digital world is evolving at a rapid pace. TEOSL, English development
Networks, International Professional Associations, teacher online trainings offered by various
universities, conferences, workshops, platforms, and courses in every discipline offered by
universities are only a few examples of teacher professional development.

We, as educators, can learn from one another and pass on new information without fear or
boundaries. In order to improve our teaching, we must sit down and reflect after each lesson,
as well as be collaborative and thoughtful.

As for myself, I'm always seeking for new ways to improve my teaching abilities, both
pedagogically and technologically. I have tried to cascade new knowledge by doing tutorials,
creating an online course, providing content for my YouTube channel and mentoring new
candidate teachers. There is still a lot to do, so hopefully I will find new other ways to
cascade new knowledge.

I am constantly looking for new resources, materials, teaching tools to add to my toolkit. I am
doing it voluntarily in order to fulfil my teaching mission to facilitate learning to my students
and make them feel important and at ease in my classes.

I will continue my teaching professional development. I will try not to lose contacts with my
colleagues here and hopefully we will see one another to other Courses arranged from George
Mason University. We still need to improve our skills, to understand better students’
development or students with special.
