SLM-25 CALIBRATION

Our products are all well calibrated before Shipment.


Recommended recalibration cycle: 1 year.
Tools needed (not included in the set):

Calibrator screwdriver screwdriver

STEP 1: Use the Metal screwdriver to open the back cover of meter after installing batteries
(see fig.1).
STEP 2: Turn the meter on and make it in C weighting mode. Press A/C button to change
the weighting to C weighting. The selection will be displayed on the right of the
LCD screen as dBC.
STEP 3: Connect the meter to calibrator, turn on the calibrator and then adjust the calibrator
to 114dB (see fig.2).
STEP 4: Use the Electrostatic screwdriver to screw the Potentiometer R35 (see fig.3) to
make the reading of meter near 114dB (accuracy:±1.5dB)
STEP 5: And then make the meter in A weighting mode. Press A/C button to change the
weighting to A weighting. The selection will be displayed on the right of the LCD
screen as dBA.
STEP 6: Use the Electrostatic screwdriver to screw the Potentiometer R45 (see fig.3) to
make the reading of meter near 114dB (accuracy:±1.5dB)
STEP 7: Adjust the calibrator to 94dB,use the Electrostatic screwdriver to screw the
Potentiometer R10 (see fig.3) to make the reading of meter near 94dB
(accuracy:±1.5dB)
STEP 8: Calibration finished. Turn off the meter and close the back cover.
