Tutorial 1: Lettering
Each of the question carriers 10 marks

Q 1. Write all the letters in freehand, in single-stroke

(i) Vertical capital letters (Lettering height=21 mm, space between characters=3 mm, space
between base lines = 35 mm, thickness of line=0.7 mm) and numbers ‘0 to 9’

(ii) Lower case letters (Lettering height=15 mm, space between characters=3 mm, space
between base lines = 35 mm, thickness of line=0.7 mm)

Q 2. Repeat the same above for inclined (75º with the base line) (i) capital letters and numbers
‘0 to 9’ (ii) lower case letters

Recommended: Use H or HB pencil

IMPORTANT NOTE: Draw and fill the title box at the bottom right corner of the sheet
