MODULE DESCRIPTION And OUTLINE

This module provides the student with opportunities to better understand the relationship
between employee wellness, accidents and the organization. It provides practical
application of the Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) and supporting
Jamaican and international legislation and best practices. It also provides a deeper
understanding and appreciation of how the areas of employee wellness and safety can
improve an organization’s effectiveness, efficiency and ultimately its profitability.
