EVIDENCE: MY VIEW ON COLOMBIA

• When someone go to visit somewhere to village near the city with the family or
friends’ group, especially if is next to the river always have big pots with all the
ingredients to prepared the lunch, what is usually cooked is “Sancocho de pollo”
that is very typical in the Colombian gastronomy.
• Colombia has different festivals, but one the most important is “Carnaval de
Barranquilla” because is a heritage of Colombia, recognized by colorful costumes,
parades, music and dancing in the streets. The parades are the true demo of
inheritance, history, culture, music heritage of Colombia.
• Colombia is a few countries that have the privilege to witness a whale sighting at the
“Nuquí” beach where you can approach by boat about 200 meters for to take
pictures of mating and birth of “ballenatos”.
• In Colombia don´t care if is hot or cold you always will find people or restaurants
that they sell you coffee at any time of day or a “tinto” that like Colombian’s say.
• Of all the musical genres that exist in Colombia there is that is very important, born
more than 200 years ago and is “Vallenato” where tells us stories that accompany
every occasion.
