During my teaching experience here in Luna Colleges, I feel the excitement despite the fact that

after two years of suffering from Pandemic finally there’s a limited face-to-face internship for
Graduating Students. At first, I had no idea how I would fit into the world of education as a
Practice Teacher when I first arrived at Luna Colleges; in fact, this was my first teaching
experience. During our orientation about our internship the two Deans encouraged us to not be
afraid to face all the challenges that we might encounter during our internship as a Practice
Teacher. By that encouragement, I changed my mind after completing a few observations and
realized I had teaching ability. I learned a variety of skills that will come in handy when I
eventually become a licensed teacher. Despite the fact that I could confront a variety of
problems in the classroom, I possess many of the qualities that make a good teacher. Many
times throughout this field training, I got a general picture of how a teacher's day-to-day life
would go. Similarly, I received a strong feeling of how most professors feel in the classroom. I
was not able to reach this success without the help of my Cooperating Teacher Ma’am
Luzviminda P. Aban, she serves as my role model and she encourages me to become the best
version of myself. She said that teaching is the noblest profession of all so that I must equip this
quotation in my mind. It is such an honor and privilege to be a Practice Teacher here in Luna
Colleges because I learned a lot from my Cooperating Teacher and also to all the teachers of
the High School Department. From the day-to-day that I come to the school, I say to myself that
someday I will teach in this school and to be part of the Teacher Education Department.
Overall, I believe this was a positive experience for me, and I learnt a great deal in such a short
time.
