Name of Experiment: Installation of Windows 10.
Objective: To know how to install Windows 10.
Required Accessories:
a) Hardware:
1) PC
2) Windows Installation Media (CD or USB Drive)
b) Software:
1) Existing operating system (Windows)
Precaution: Boot order should be correctly set up in the BIOS. The media of
installation of Windows should be set up as the primary boot option.
Working procedure:
1. Start the computer with the Windows 10 installation media on.
2. On prompt, press any key to boot from the device.
3. On the "Windows Setup," click the Next button.

4. Click the Install now button.

5. Type the product key if this is your first time installing Windows 10. If
you're reinstalling the OS, you can click the I don't have a product
key option to continue (assuming that your device was already activated).

6. Click the Next button.

7. Select the edition of Windows 10 (If applicable). This selection must match
the edition your product key activates.

8. Click the Next button.

9. Select the I accept the license terms option to continue.
10. Click the Next button.
11. Click on the Custom: Install Windows only (Advanced) option.

12. Select the partition with the current installation (usually "Drive 0"),
and click the Delete button.
13. Click the Yes button.
 14. Select the empty drive (Drive 0 Unallocated Space).

15. Click the Next button.

Once you complete the steps, the setup will proceed with the fresh installation of
Windows 10 on the device.
After completion of the setup, Windows will configure the computer and make it
ready for use.
Result: Windows 10 has been successfully installed in the PC.
Conclusion: Windows 10 is a very versatile and easy-to-use operating system for
PC. Windows 10, being the latest operating system coming from Microsoft till
now, is the most used and most compatible system on the platform.
