AVOID JUNK FOOD AND ADHERE TO HEALTHY DIET

Imagine-You just exit from your work and you saw a Fast-food corner, Dominos, McDonald’s, and
many more. All these are mouth-watering but wait, do you know what effects will be there on your
body?
All we know that there are junk foods which is basically highly processed i.e., fried, oily, spicy snacks
that contains an abundance of calories in the form of sugar and salt. Eating junk food on a regular
basis can lead to an increased risk of obesity and chronic diseases like cardiovascular disease, type 2
diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and some cancers.
According to a survey, School students are the major victims of malnutrition that leads to low energy,
mood swings, Sleep disturbance and poor academic achievements. Adopting a diet that is free of junk
food brings about many benefits such as weight loss, stronger bones, better digestion, sharper memory
and a healthy heart
‘Good and evil very often and prevails together, it is up to us, up to humans to strike a balance
between the two’. All we need to is to change or modify the way we think. Switching to a healthy
diet doesn’t means that we have to completely cut our ‘love-bites’, we just have to maintain a balance
by detoxing our body after eating junk/unhealthy food. But remember that junk food should be not on
regular basis.
We can replace our junk foods snacks with nutritious foods like Fruit, vegetables, legumes (e.g. lentils
and beans), nuts and whole grains (e.g. unprocessed maize, millet, oats, wheat and brown rice).A
better approach can be to make small changes in your food eating habits at a time and slowly shifting
completely to healthy food.
If we take care of our body, our body will definitely take care of us, so in order to safe guard our
future, we have to take care of our diet. EAT GOOD - FEEL GOOD
