Neutralizing solution for washing machines – Citric Acid

Properties
 Specifically designed for use in all automatic washers

 Foam – free cleaning

 Removes residues of dried-on and denatured blood effectively

 Prevents re-deposition of protein residues

 Provides thermo-chemical disinfection from 50 to 93 °C.

 Recommended dosage; 1-5 ml

Areas of Application
Actoton® C is used for neutralization of medical and surgical equipment and its accessories, including MIC
tools after alkaline cleaning at 93 °C. After alkaline cleaning the alkaline residues are removed by the
citric acid. Actoton® C can be used for many materials: Stainless steel, plastic, rubber, lates, laboratory
glass and ceramic materials. Actoton® C eliminates lime deposits on machines and ultrasound devices.
The service life of instruments is extendes and restored the original brilliance. Actoton® C is suitable for
stainless steel, plastic, rubber, latex, laboratory glass and ceramic materials.

Instructions for use

In the Medical area the recommended concentration for cleaning and disinfecting machines lies between
0.1-0.3% (1-3 ml/l).Please also pay attention to the dosage recommendations of machine manufacturers.

Composition: In 100 g of solution: Citric acid monohydrate: 15-30%, 2-Propanol 5-15%, Nonionic surfactant: <5%, Anionic
surfactant: <5% Warning: H319 - May cause severe eye irritation, P264 - Wash thoroughly with water after handling.
P280 - Wear protective gloves / protective clothing / eye protection / face shield. P305 + 351 + 338 In case of contact with eyes,
drink with water for several minutes. Rinse carefully. Contact lens, if present and removal. Remove the coles. Shake constantly.
P313 - Get medical advice / seek medical advice.
