Dear Parents,

‘ Its time for Summer Vacation and fun filled activities’.

Children are reservoirs of potential which needs to be explored and channelized in


diverse ways. We feel that it is very important to fire their imagination and foster an
outlook that helps them explore, discover and rediscover. Children should be
encouraged to develop intellectually and physically. Summer Vacation is the best and
fruitful time for learning and creativity. It is the time when you can connect with your
child in many ways.

The Holidays’ Homework designed would not only enhance achievements of your child
but also help to enhance family relationships. It would teach your child to work
independently and would improve his basic academic skills, such as reading, writing,
spellings and would help him develop personal skills and time management.
ART INTEGRATED PROJECT

ENGLISH: Draw or paste picture of famous poets/ writers/ painters of Meghalaya


and write about their contribution in the field of art and literature.

MATHS 1) Make a board game or mathematical puzzle or Quiz .


2) Make a pie chart on famous 5 crops of Meghalaya.
3)Make a double bar graph on literacy rate in Meghalaya from 1991 to
2011 by gender

SCIENCE &: : Make a Power Point Presentation on Flora & fauna and wildlife with
relevant
COMP pictures of Meghalaya. (Include minimum 8 to 10 slides.)

S. SC.: Write in brief about social and cultural development of Meghalaya and draw
or paste the pictures relevant to the topic .
