Regular practice of basic phonics sound gives a child to relate an alphabet to the
words they see or hear. Phonics helps the child to read by correlating sounds with
alphabets.
1. Play with phonics sound/make it a music (Children learn fast with music)
“A” makes a sound “aeh”, “aeh”,”aeh”. “A” makes a sound? Your turn~
“B” makes a sound “buh”,”buh”,”buh”. “B” makes a sound? Your turn~
5. Read Books.
Try not to read out books all yourself. Let the child read along the words you read by
pointing and repeating at every words you read. Slight enforce to remember
frequenty used words like (e.g in, the, is, I, am, a , are, he, she, It, This, That).
Recommand Lvl1, Lvl2, etc children books.
(Purpose: Let the child visualize / recognize / memorize / frequently observed ) words
inorder to get familiar with alphabets.
