In this WRP Session, My takeaways were Good Health, Exercises, and Sports/ Skills / Talent that
is needed to be nourished or to discover and practiced wherein students will be required to be in good
From the start of enrolling WRP sessions, I have chosen sports as my main target as I am getting
left behind in terms of strenuous exercises and skills relating to any sports due to the pandemic, and
with the WRP session became available face to face, I have chosen basketball as my main as my friends
do play basketball and I need again to do the basics done, with ball handling. Shooting, dribbling,
posting, lateral defense, footwork, and other set of skills such as layups, 3 point shootout, assists,
passing and rebounding that makes me a power forward or small forward back in the days. As I was
taking my class in the WRP I realized that my athletic body before is now long gone as my stamina have
been cut by almost 80 percent, yet the exercises that we performed that had been instructed by sir
Marga was familiar to me as I was a soccer player which means we do a lot of footwork and different
sets of exercises, and by being familiar with the exercise I was not totally embarrassed. With the free
throw shoot out, i never landed a 3 consecutive shots in the basket as I was not anymore familiar with
shooting at broad daylight. With the layup practice, after it I requested a rest and after, I voluntarily
I Have concluded that WRP Sessions are classes which enhances your ability that you have
discovered in order to grow more or to reinstate yourself to the being you want to be in terms of sports,
arts or Talent, and by having Wellness and Recreation Program, it tends us to remind that we need to
have good health, we discover what we want, and to nurture our talent in terms of taking classes.
