Dear Mayor Boying,

It recently came to my attention that your organization is offering a limited number of academic
scholarships to students. I am therefore writing this express my appreciation for generosity and
submit my credentials in hope of securing one of these scholarship.

I am currently a first year college student and I am now attending in online class, but I required
aid for my tuition fees. I graduated in Senior High School with overweghted average of 91.94%.
Now, I am taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino and would be eager to
work at your company as a part - time apprentice during the summer as a way to learn the ropes
of running a business, and also as a way to give back to your organization should you see fit to
grants one of your scholarhips.
