Weather

The four seasons are winter, summer, autumn and spring. I like all the four seasons.
I like summer because there’s no school. It’s true that the weather is hot and dry, but
I often go to the swimming pool or the beach. I like winter because I can ice-skate,
there are Christmas and New Year. I like autumn because the trees become red,
yellow and brown. I think it’s beautiful view. I like spring because it’s warm again and
nature awakens from its sleep.
Spring isn’t hot. It’s usually sunny. It can be cloudy or windy. There can be heavy
rainstorms and lightning. The snow melts and nature awakens from its sleep in
spring. The trees begin to grow leaves and flower begin to bloom.
Summer is usually very hot and dry. Sometimes there are big storms with thunder
and lightning, or even hail. The temperatures are usually over 30 oC. People often go
on holiday, go to the beach or swimming pool, go to the lake and they can swim or
sunbathe in summer.
The early autumn is a rich seasons because fruit like grapes, apples, pears, plums
are harvested in autumn. “Indian summer” is the time in early autumn when the
weather is sunny and warm just like in summer.
Winter is usually rather cold but some winters are quite mild with no snow. It’s often
foggy and the roads are slippery. We have to wear a lot of clothes. When the
temperatures fall over 0oC, it means the arrival of winter.
Hungary has a continental climate. The weather is easily predictable nut nowdays
unfortunately it can be changeable. There are big differences between the four
seasons, but in ym opinion nowdays it isn’t true because for example the winter is
sometimes mild with no snow. July is the hottest month. The temperatures are over
30oC. January is usually the coldest month. The temperatures are under 0 oC.
Hungary is protect by mountains from the extremes of weather.
England has a maritime climate. The weather is usually wet and rainy. It’s very
changeable. It’s damp and not too cold at all times of the year. It rarely snows and it
does,it melts when it reaches the ground.
