IMU
CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP'S

Welcoming
Party
IMUCF's Mission:
Growing gospel-centered, Word-centered,
God-glorifying Christian students through
our campus students’ ministry.

IMUCF's Vision:
God wants IMU students to know the Truth
about the King and to soldier on for Him.
(2 Timothy 2:1-13)
Dear ______________,
All of us have a life story, yes? If we get to live until 80 years old, then
at least 3-5 years of your life story (around 6%) will be here in IMU, and
one night in your life story is being here in IMUCF Welcoming Party. IMUCF
takes every life seriously, and that’s why we would like to thank every
single one of you giving us 2-3 hours of your time to get to know us.
Just to let you know a bit more about IMUCF: We gather with a goal of
living life as it’s supposed to be – under God, and therefore we strive to
be reading about God through His Scriptures and to be living out the
Scriptures in our lives. We hold this as our motto for every event that
we hold, and we’re very glad to include you into this word-centered
community of ours.
Well, even though it would be hard, starting university in this
unprecedented situation, but let’s take it to be a challenge, a good
challenge that not everyone has the privilege to experience – who else
gets to start university during a worldwide pandemic right? And in
university, you get to make that decision on whether you want to make
it worthwhile or not.
So, make the most of your university life, play hard, study hard, and
most importantly, study the bible hard :D Welcome to IMUCF.

SONG
“Let your kingdom come” by Sovereign Grace Music

Your glorious cause, O God

Engages our hearts
May Jesus Christ be known
Wherever we are
We ask not for ourselves, but for Your renown
The cross has saved us so we pray
Your kingdom come
Let Your kingdom come
Let Your will be done
So that everyone might know Your Name
Let Your song be heard everywhere on earth
Till Your sovereign work on earth is done
Let Your kingdom come
Give us Your strength, O God
And courage to speak
Perform Your wondrous deeds
Through those who are weak
Lord use us as You want, whatever the test
By grace we'll preach Your gospel
Till our dying breath
Let Your kingdom come
Let Your will be done
So that everyone might know Your Name
Let Your song be heard everywhere on earth
Till Your sovereign work on earth is done
Let Your kingdom come
Let Your kingdom come
Let Your will be done
So that everyone might know Your Name
Let Your song be heard everywhere on earth
Till Your sovereign work on earth is done
Let Your kingdom come
“Your will be done” by City Alight

Your will be done, my God and Father

As in heaven, so on earth
My heart is drawn to self-exalting
Help me seek Your kingdom first
As Jesus walked, so I shall walk
Held by Your same unchanging love
Be still my soul, O lift your voice and pray:‘
Father, not my will but Yours be done.’

How in that Garden he persisted

I may never fully know
The fearful weight of true obedience
It was held by him alone
What wondrous faith, to bear that cross!
To bear my sin, what wondrous love!
My hope was sure, when there my Saviour prayed:
‘Father, not my will but Yours be done.’
When I am lost, when I am broken
In the night of fear and doubt
Still I will trust in my good Father
Yes, to one great King I bow!
As Jesus rose, so I shall rise
In ransomed glory at the throne
My heart restored
With all your saints I sing:
‘Father, not my will but Yours be done!’

As we go forth, our God and Father

Lead us daily in the fight
That all the world might see Your glory
And Your Name be lifted high
And in this Name we overcome
For You shall see us safely home
Now as your church, we lift our voice and pray:
‘Father, not my will but Yours be done!’
