It is obvious that recently, consumers tend to purchase goods from big

enterprises as a result of a considerable amount of money poured into

advertising. This phenomenon can result in serious problems, which can be
tackled using approciate measures.

As the marketing and advertising budgets of multinational corparations

and brands are increasingly large, several related problems can be anticipated.
One of the main issues is a threat to the existence of small businesses. Naturally,
consumers prefer to buy items that were internally and externally marketed in
their minds by large brands. Therefore, many local firms with their high quality
goods, can not attract clients. Consequently, the dominance of international
trademark ruins regional companies and it can make thousand of individuals
unemployed. Moreover, creative and sneaky marketing and advertising policies
of large business owners create a dominion in the market which traps many
clients in believing that bigger trademark means reputation and quality. For
example, the dominance of international fashion trademark has swept away
many regional firms in Asian nations.

Since such issues are serious, both the government as well as individuals
should take steps immediately to curb these problems. The first solution would
be that authorities should allocate sufficient funds to encourage local brands in a
form of subsidized loans, free locations for rent, and daily monitoring. Also,
they need to decrease taxes on regional products and motivate citizens to
purchase them. As a result, this will be able to make sure the existence of small
enterprises. Another measure probably is that individuals should play their part
in ensuring they encourage local brands. For example, rather than purchasing a
big company’s item, they should try regional items and review them on Google.
Rating and reviews play a significance role in enhancing the sales of a product.

In conclusion, big firms are always a huge competition for local

businesses and can pose a major threat to their survival. Nonetheless, these
problems can be solved through approciate actions from government and
residents.
