Introduction
In line with the mandate of the Department of Education, that despite the pandemic,
education must continue… CREST CHRISTIAN SCHOOL of San Pablo City, Inc. drafted
this BASIC EDUCATION LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN to ensure that learning
continues despite this trying times of COVID-19 Pandemic; the reason why we shift to
Modular Distance Learning (MDL)and Online Distance Learning. (ODL)
Included herein is our response to the challenges posed by the Pandemic in our
educational system. Our School always maintain that education must continue,
whatever the situation we are in, even the dangers we confront now and in the future.
This LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN is not the work of one person alone, but the
collaborative effort of the school administrator, teachers, parents, student, LGU’S and
various stakeholders. In particular this is the result of the LEARNERS’ ENROLLMENT
AND SURVEY FORM distributed online to parents/students and also a separate survey
of teachers’ readiness to conduct MODULAR and ONLINE distance learning modality.
The Academic School Calendar was also consulted and will soon be presented to the
stakeholder.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who have contributed to the
preparation of this LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN.

drastically dropped this
As can be seen from the above data, our enrollment
school year, especially our Elementary pupils. Most parents lost their jobs;
some were under the “NO WORK- NO PAY Policy”. Others close their
businesses and it is so hard for them to send their children to private
schools It’s a good thing we were given the ESC Grants. It’s a great help
to them.
We tried our best to convince them to stay, but still they prefer
their child to be enrolled in the public school where they can get free
modules, and sometimes gadgets.
The sad thing is that we have to dismiss a few of our teachers
due to this sudden dropped of enrollment. We can’t do otherwise
Or else we will be in trouble paying the teachers” salary.

COMMUNICATION MECHANISM
In terms of disseminating relevant health and safety information, the school through its designated
officer will continue to partner and work closely with the Local LGU”s, the IATF and theDepEd Task Force to
ensure the safety of all concerned.
Included in the training of parents, teachers and learners is the introduction of our LMS. They were
instructed how to use the different features of the platform including the pages where they can post their
queries and concerns. The administrators can easily see these posts for immediate actions.
Also, they are provided with the contact numbers of the School Head including the email address,
telephone (landline and mobile) or text messages.
There is always an open line of communication among teachers, parents and learners and
administrators.
Conclusion
With the cooperation and involvement of all concern, we will
overcome this trying time until situation goes back to
normal. Keep safe everyone!
