I/ Công thức:
Khẳng định Phủ định Nghi vấn

S + V(s/es) S + don’t/doesn’t + V (Wh-) + Do/Does + S + V?

(Wh-) + Is/Am/Are + S + V?

II/ Cách dùng:

- Diễn tả một thói quen, hành động lặp lại trong hiện tại
- Diễn tả một sự thật hiển nhiên, luôn đúng
- Nói về lịch trình
- Dùng trong câu điều kiện 1

IV/ Chia động từ trong hiện tại đơn:

Dạng động từ Cách chia Ví dụ

Kết thúc bằng -o, -s, Thêm -es choose => chooses
-z, -ch, -x, -sh, -ss pass => passes
watch => watches
mix => mixes.

Kết thúc bằng một Đổi (y) => (i)+(es) study => studies
phụ âm + -y carry => carries

Kết thúc bằng một Giữ nguyên (y)+(s) play => plays
nguyên âm + -y obey => obeys
