A/ Ôn tập kiến thức

I/ Danh từ đếm được
- Những danh từ chỉ sự vật tồn tại độc lập riêng lẻ, có thể đếm được, có thể sử dụng
với số đếm trước từ đó.
VD: an apple, two cats, five books, …
- Phân loại: danh từ số ít và danh từ số nhiều.
Lưu ý:
- Tận cùng là CH, SH, S, X, O → thêm “es” vào cuối.
Vd: a class → classes
- Tận cùng là Y → đổi “y” thành “i” và thêm “es”
Vd: a candy → candies
- Tận cùng là Y, trước là nguyên âm → thêm “s”
Vd: a bay → bays
- Tận cùng là F, FE, FF → bỏ và thêm “ves”.
Vd: a knife → knives
- Bảng danh từ đếm được bất quy tắc:
Danh từ số ít Danh từ số nhiều

II/ Danh từ không đếm được:

- Những danh từ chỉ những sự vật, hiện tượng mà chúng ta không thể sử dụng với
số đếm. Danh từ không đếm được chỉ có dạng số ít.
 Vd: money, advice, rain, …
- Phân loại: Chia làm 5 nhóm điển hình:
● Danh từ chỉ đồ ăn: food, meat, water, rice, sugar, ...
● Danh từ chỉ khái niệm trừu tượng: help, information, knowledge, …
● Danh từ chỉ lĩnh vực, môn học: mathematics, ethics, music, …
● Danh từ chỉ hiện tượng tự nhiên: thunder, snow, heat, …
● Danh từ chỉ hoạt động: swimming, walking, reading, cooking, …
●
III/ Danh từ đếm được dùng: a, an, many, few, a few.
Vd: a doctor, many books, few tables, a few problems, …
- Câu nghi vấn dùng “How many”
Vd: How many friends do you have?

IV/ Danh từ không đếm được dùng: much, little, a little bit of
Vd: much money, little experience, a little bit of sugar, ...
- Câu nghi vấn dùng “How much”:
Vd:How much sugar do you want to add into the coffee?

V/ Từ dùng được với cả danh từ đếm được và không đếm được

VD:
- some: some pens, some coffee, …
- any: any socks, any advice, …
- no: no rings, no trouble, …
- a lot of/lots of: a lot of babies, a lot of fun, …
- plenty of: plenty of apples, plenty of sugar, …
VI/ Một số danh từ luôn luôn ở dạng số nhiều:
