Due to the fact Testampa company plans to introduce a new product in the market, it is
necessary to work out a market segmentation since, this way will help us to know
specifically, what people want and need.
According to the answers I present you the results of this investigation

The research was developed in the capital of Colombia, where there are 22,3 millions of
busy people of wich 43% are busy women.

In therms of age, middle class is a young population able to work, 55% of the population
are women between 15 and 44 years old. 33% are professional and 50.5% of the women are
economically active what means it could be an interesting segment to introduce the product.

According to the qualities of the product, it is addressed to gender female.


Those are the Économic activities where people of middle class take up:
26% hotels and restaurants, 24% social and personal services, 16% manufacturing industry
and 14% real estate activities.

67% of middle class has better leves of confidence, those kind of population like to be
updated, through technology use and they seek to have better aspirations and greater
autonomy in their self-realization.
In accordance with the market survey made to the different stores, women like to seek that
kind of product in the afternoon since that is the time where they finish the working hours.
About the product features, they usually look for modenity, practicality, functionality and
qualities that the product represents and identifies with themselves.
