Universe give usa wonderful gift to defend ourselves from various ‘enemies. We fight the enemy in various ways. One of human enemy is the ineffectiveness of packaging system inthe world, People used to wrap things with paper but then there was big ecological issues about the forest and the climate. Then, plastic came out and offer a hand. Plastic used to be a friend of human, but now a foe. We couldn't said that plastic completes the fulfilment of human needs anymore. They are serious destruct our environmnet, our home, the earth. Humans are no longer exploring, humans are becoming superior entities who are doing the experiments in earth exploitatively. IVE SUMMARY We are TacTic, a fine-art group from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. We are fighting against our egos to melt the practice of fine arts into these environmental issue. We area group of three: Ayu Arista Murti, Mutia Bunga and Lily Eserisa Since 2016, we read, discussed, thought much about the issue. We build a body experience to create the artwork. We're ever go to Piyungan, one of the waste final disposal of Yogyakarta to get our materials. We also knocked the students, housewives and other citizen's doors and heart to ask their plastic bags. We cut the household system of waste by adopt and pick the plastic bags up by ourselves. We have a {good time talked about the ideal earth they dream of. Now, we are getting more serious in exploring plastics ‘material, doing some workshops for the locals here, and reating artworks to make people think and feel about ‘The Mother Earth. We don't offer solutions, but we are always try to be noisy in your senses and head about the issue of our worsen home.PLASTIC ADOPTION Plastic adoption is a program that hhas been carried out by TacTic since 2019 until now and will be further. Lokalaku was bom from a desire to develop the local community in Jogja ta be ‘more concern with environmental issue and start a sustainableAt first, Tactic bought the first plastic waste at a landfill in Yogyakarta called TPA Piyungan. Plastic waste collection assisted by scavengers who work in the area. Then, the purchased plastic waste runs out become some artwork. [At that moment, Tactic thought and planned a new methode to collect the material. twas how the Plastic Adoption born, We made a poster or publication and share it online. Some very enthusiastic people contacted us to pick up their plastic waste and their dream about the better earth to live on. This program is still running today.LOKALAKU Lokalaku is a program initiated by Tactic and Galastica (Merchandise Work by Tactic). Lokalaku was born from a desire to develop the local community in Jogja to be more concern with environmental issue and start a sustainable lifestyle. This intention is realized by holding workshops with local community in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, Besides, we also organized a little pop up market which was attended by several local tenants. They sold many creative and eco-friendly products. Lokalaku #1 has been held collaboratively one of marine area conservation community in Indonesia, Divers Clean Action and a small creative business that produces applied art called Moana Venusa. Furthermore, we are also open to collaborate with your creative and eco-friendly movement for the next event.\NORKSHOP Besides the artistic work, Tactic also organizes workshops for community, both independent and, by invitation. There's no age limit for workshop participants. These workshops are inthe form of ‘education about our artistic research and how to make an upcycle artwork from plastic waste. In the workshop with children, Tactic usually inserts a storytelling show about the dangers of plastic waste around us.
