Introduction

The report will include a self-assessment of competencies, strengths as well as

weaknesses whilst developing a plan of action for effective professional or personal
growth. The personal development plan is recognised as a lifetime procedure that is
continuously reviewed and focuses to smooth the progress of employability
prospects and encourage improvements in the areas of relevant competencies.
Individuals conduct self-assessments to recognise their strengths and weaknesses
and to analyse areas for improvement (Aguinis and Gabriel, 2022). Self-assessment
is denoted as a development procedure that helps in recognising the skills,
standards, interests, and preferences and also facilitates improvements that can
contribute toward professional and personal objectives.

My strength includes effective teamwork, behavioural skills, collaborative attitude,

proper and effective vocabulary and efficient critical thinking. My weaknesses are a
lack of accountability and responsibility in leadership skills as well as a lack of
communication skills. Pursuing my career in the field of management would help me
to grow professionally by building a strong foundation based on my strengths. My
strengths will allow me to communicate effectively with creative ideas to the team
members with the assistance of effective vocabulary. Also, a collaborative attitude
will allow the growth and development of the organisation. I am willing to work on my
weaknesses such as effective leadership. If I gain the knowledge and understanding
in implementing proper leadership skills, it will improve the performance of my team
members and lead to the success of the organisation. Thus, with the assistance of
this personal development plan, I can indicate relevant actions to address identified
weaknesses.
