process. Studying and understanding the history of the motherland.
2. I sacrificed my teenage life and my happiness for my family. I want my siblings to avoid
the sufferings at such an early age. I want them to enjoy their life and their happiness
together with their freedom.
3. a) He’s an intellectual and political activist. His nobility and dignity with his writings,
fought the Spaniards without violence, b) He showed that the power of a pen could be
stronger than a sword, and c) Rizal did not want just freedom, also reforms which makes
the country civilized.
