Letter of Recommendation

I’m pleased to write this recommendation in favor of Mr. Sarthak Jain who directly reported to
me for four years during 2017-21 at Jash Engineering Ltd. I've known Sarthak since he started
working at Jash out of college as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in the Knife Gate Valve (KGV)
division. I am the Head of Department working as the Assistant General Manager for Marketing
Department at Jash Engineering Ltd. I do have an experience of more than 10 years working
here.
Even in a group of 30 GETs, Sarthak managed to make his mark, by his clarity of thought
process, his ability to remain unperturbed in situations and his display of discipline. During his
whole working career at Jash, I had never seen him arrive late to his desk. He did assimilate well
in a very short span of time. He was quick at understanding and adapting the work
requirements and dealt with process areas in managing overall project execution.
In addition, he directly interacted with business analysts from offshore nations such as the USA,
Singapore, Canada to name a few, for gathering technical requirements and providing the
required solutions in a timely manner. He worked on building extraction, transforming and
loading job flows using SAP Hana. During the project's execution, Sarthak took the initiative to
organize numerous events for the crew. His alertness and presence of mind were extraordinary.
In all our interactions, I have never witnessed or heard of him losing his cool or be nasty to any
his peers or seniors.
Sarthak is capable of sharing a dream and then turning it into reality. He motivates and
empowers his team to achieve a common goal. He attends team handover meetings to coach
people on systematic thinking to analyze the problems. His effective planning and division of
responsibilities with rigorous follow ups ensures that the team is continuously moving to
achieve the target. He leads by setting examples by reaching plant earlier to sense overnight
issues in operation. He is a great leader and is looked upon for solutions by everyone.
Sarthak carries a positive attitude towards new challenges and his commitment &
determination brings his ability to deliver breakthrough results. Good inter-personal skills along
with a curious mindset to learn about new things were his primary assets.
Sarthak is a great team player and knows how to work with people towards a common
objective. He always listens to understand and then use his analytic skills to make decisions. He
would be an asset at your prestigious institution. I’m confident that he’ll excel at the endeavours
he takes up even post his master’s program and I do wish him all the very best.
