The two maps illustrate how Sunnyhills university changed between 1995 and

today.

It is clear that the university has made many changes during this period including
new buildings and recreation facilities.

In 1995, the center of the campus was the founder’s building, and it was between
the cafe and Watson’s building. In front of the founder’s building was the student
union and behind was the Scott Library. In front of the Watson’s building was the
main reception and behind were the halls of residence. There were two car parks
on the campus of the university. Car park 1 was located in the top left-hand corner
and car park 2 was next to the right-hand side of the cafe. In the bottom right-
hand corner- was a sports area including the gym, the football pitch and the
tennis courts.

The second map is the campus of the university today. There are two buildings
that stay the same: Watson’s building and the founder’s building. To the right of
the founder’s building, the cafe has been replaced with the Scott Library by
fouder . The laboratories have been built at the place of Scott Library 27 years
ago. Car park 1 and 2 have been replaced with the main reception and the table
tennis respectively. Currently, there is only a car park, in front of Watson's
building. The sports area has been pulled down and replaced with the pond and
the recreation area. The arts building has been set up site of the halls of
residence. The halls of residence have been separated into two buildings, located
on the left of the Watson’s building and the art building. The cafe has been added
behind the laboratories and the squash courts/gym have been added to the right
of the car park.
