Sir,

My name is Saageeta I am 24 years old. I am currently residing at my mother’s house. my

husband works as a watchman. I and my husband both are Hindus, I was married to my
husband on 26/06/2011 according to the Hindu Marriage Rituals in a temple at New Delhi. I
have two sons Lucky (10 years) and Divyanshu (5 years).
My husband, mother-in-law and brother-in-law has been beating and torturing me from last
10 years for dowry. They have forced me to give all my savings to them and ask for money
from my mother and brothers. My mother has given him some amount of money from time to
time to save me from getting tortured and they even had to support me and my children
financially as my husband never provided us with basic needs such as food and clothing. My
mother works as a house maid so, when once she denied to give him money, he started
assaulting me again and when my mother came to rescue me, he kicked my mother and
pushed her into the wall.

Due to all this I had to come to my parents’ house to stay with them many times as my
husband threatened to harm me and my children.

I would request you to kindly register my complaint as soon as possible as me and my

children are not safe with or around him as well as it has been very difficult to survive with
any source of income.
