Title of Study:“COUNSELLOR TRAINEES’ PERCEPTION AND EXPERIENCES ON

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: AN IPA EXPLORATION”

Thank you for taking part in the present study which attempts to explore your own
perception, views and experiences as a trainee in the Integrative Counselling and
Psychotherapy Master of Science programme of Derby University, or any equivalent Post
Graduation Programme. This study is trying to identify common characteristics in the lived
experiences of participants, concerning their personal and professional development by this
whole endeavour. Your contribution has been of great importance for conducting this study,
and once again we would like to thank you for being a participant. In case you have friends or
colleagues who are eligible to participate in this study, we kindly request that you refrain
from discussing the process or the context of the interview you have undertaken prior to their
participation, since that way the results of the study can be invalidated.
