61-0402 - The True Easter Seal

146 Look here in California the other day. I think I can find it here;
here it is. I was at Clifton’s Cafeteria, the breakfast. And there a
Baptist brother…after I got through just tearing the churches to
pieces, telling them how they were doing evil, and the things they
were doing, rejecting God. This Baptist brother come up here to put
his arms around me, to pray. And, when he did, he started speaking
like in tongues. When he…Now, he was a Baptist, knowed nothing
about it. When he got through, he said…
147 And a woman standing back there, from Louisiana, a Frenchman,
said, “That wasn’t an unknown tongue, that was French.” And here sat
another woman from Switzerland, Lausanne, which speaks French,
(I’ve been there), she said that she interpreted it right. Here come a
young man walking down through there (I never seen him, nobody
had ever seen him), he was the French interpreter for the U.N., said,
“Exactly, it’s right,” said.
148 And this man says, and you know this man, I’ll call his name just
in a minute. His name was Henry. I’ll get his last name just in a
moment, I think it’s wrote on here. I don’t know. It’s in the Business
Men’s Voice, if it isn’t. But he…Oh, yes, “By Danny Henry.” Now that
is…I can’t think of that movie star. [Someone says, “Marilyn
Monroe?”—Ed.] No, it isn’t Marilyn. Meda, what…? Jane Russell, Jane
Russell’s cousin. And he came up and put his arms around me, to
comment me, and here’s the words he said. He said, “That sermon
could be put into the Book of Revelation.” Said, “It’s right.” He said, “I
want to pray for you, Brother Branham.” He throwed his arms
around me, begin to speaking in French, and didn’t know nothing
about it.
149 And here was the interpretation, he’s got it wrote down as the
document come, in form, and so forth. It said, “I, Victor D-e D-o-w-x,”
French name, “am a Frenchman,” and so forth, “and was there when
—when Danny” what-you-call-it, “Danny Henry, gave this in
message over Brother Branham, on February the eleventh, 1961.”
He lives at “809 North Kings Road, Los Angeles 64.” Listen at the—
listen at the reading. Because thou has chosen the narrow path…
Now, you see, I get that all right. There’s part of it I don’t. Because
thou has chosen the narrow path, the harder way; thou has
walked of thy own choosing.
150 I can get that all right, see. See, you choose it yourself. Moses
made his own choice, he didn’t have to do it. Neither did I have to
take this path. I could have had big buildings out yonder like some of
them has got. I could be all across on television. But who would
sponsor me on—on tearing the very foundation? But one thing, I don’t
have to bow down to nobody’s feet but the Lord Jesus Christ. That’s
right. Yes. I preach what the Bible says. I don’t have to compromise
with their organizations, ’cause I don’t belong to them. I made the
choice. Just like He said up there, “As I was with Moses, so will I be
with you.” And He give Moses two signs of confirmation, to prove.
And Moses made his own choice. See, Moses made his own choice. So
that’s easy to understand that, see, “Thou has chose a…”

Because thou has chosen the narrow path, the harder way; thou
has walked of your own choosing. Now here, now this man, now
watch how it’s wrote, you can see it’s wrote in—in foreign words.
Thou has picked the correct and precise decision, and it is MY
WAY. Bless God! “It’s My Way,” He said. Because of this momentous
decision, a huge portion of Heaven waits thee. He had never heard
about the vision, you see, of this; you remember the vision. …huge
portion of Heaven waits thee. What a glorious decision thou has
made! See? This in itself… Now here is, from here on, I don’t
understand. This in itself is that…(big parentheses around it)…
which will give and make come to pass the tremendous victory in
the Love Divine.
151 I don’t know what that means, “this will make come to pass.”
Perhaps in the little tent one of these days, sitting back yonder, He’ll
make it known.
152 Why? Not because we had to do it. Not because that—that it—it—
it’s just a easy way. You can be popular, you’d have everybody patting
you on the back, money flowing in from everywhere for a radio or
televisions, and so forth. They said they would take it and televise it. I
don’t believe in taking God’s things and putting them out on such
vulgarity stuff of the world. I don’t believe in all this hooping up and
making something that isn’t. I believe in just letting it alone, wait.
God, He’s God, let Him do with it what He wants to. We are servants,
just serve the Lord, just do as God said. Man, in the midst of all of it,
though, is forced to make a decision.

note:

 Good evening, friends. It’s certainly a privilege to be back again, tonight, at Long Beach to have this time
of fellowship in the coming weeks. And it was kind of surprising to me to know that I was going to stay in
Long Beach this long extended time. And I think Brother Arganbright, when he called me about coming on to
the West Coast from Phoenix, he asked for one night in Los Angeles and one night here. And then when I find
out that I’ve got, or, one night, I mean, one week at each place, pardon me. And then I find I got two weeks
here: Sunday through Sunday, I think it is, or, Tuesday through Sunday through Sunday. And so we’re
expecting now to have a great time. Now, we can only have a good time in the Lord as we all worship Him
together; we must do that. And now, I was talking to the pastor today and—and asked him just what type of
service, was it a revival we were anticipating, or was he to have a healing service? And he said, “Just as the
Lord will lead.” So that, just about as good I guess, as I could ask for. That’s what we want, we want where the
Lord leads. And then if the Lord has the right-of-way, then everything will be all right. 2 And it’s… I think
this is my second time to this tabernacle. I think this is the place we come, wasn’t it Brother Demos? one night
down here about two or three years ago, or something, and, couple years ago, yes, sir. And then I was once
over at the Municipal Auditorium here when we… I first come to the West Coast. And so I kind of feel like
I’m part of you to begin with, not only because I’ve been here, because I’ve been at the same place you did to
find salvation: at Calvary. And that’s where we… The only fountain that I know is that fountain of Calvary,
where God poured out His blessings upon the human race, and there’s where I received mine, beneath the
Blood of the Lord Jesus. 3 And now, if the Lord willing, I’d just like to just see how many was wanting to be
prayed for, have a healing service one night? Let’s see if we raise up our hands around. Well, that’s a nice little
group for a healing service, so, for a church anyhow. And then, well, tomorrow night, how would you like to
have a healing service tomorrow night, would that be fine? All right, I’ll have the boys over here to give out
prayer cards about six-thirty, something like that, so it won’t interfere with the other parts of the meeting. And
then we’ll pray for the sick tomorrow night, if God willing. And then we’ll see then as He leads, goes on, see
how many… You know in a little church meeting like this, we can pray for all the sick in one night. So to be
here thirteen nights, that’s going to be—be quite a healing service. So if the people come in, the sick keeps
crowding in, why, we’ll keep praying for them as—as they come in. 4 And now, maybe this coming week, this
next coming week, rather, if it’d be the will of the Lord, I just finished, before I started this year’s tour, at
my tabernacle, I finished the series of the seven last church ages in Revelation. And maybe, the Lord
willing, I’d like to take next week on the four horse riders of Revelation, and give a night on each horse
and each rider, and what it represents in the time that we’re living in. I think it—it should be we should all be
warned of the things that’s come, coming. That’s what’s the church today lacks, is the warning of making
ready. I believe really, the church was in better condition forty years ago for Christ to come than it is today,
forty year. I was speaking on that the other day at the Westward Ho, at the Full Gospel Business Men ’s
Convention, of how that the church in forty years lost ground just like it did in the wilderness. But it’s the
time now when the old fighters is dead, and we ought to get ourselves together, and get started on for the
Kingdom of God, and go over and possess the full blessing. And just as the Lord will lead this week, we’ll be
speaking on those subjects, in making ready. 5 Now, a minister cannot bring a revival. There’s no preacher can
bring a revival. He doesn’t pack it with him, and the only thing he can do is just be loyal to God and His Word,
and the revival has to come by the people, in your home, in your life. Now, revival isn’t adding new members
to the church, it’s “reviving that what we’ve already got.” To revive means “to bring back.” So a revival…
