Lesson Objectives:

Welcome to lesson 3! In this lesson, you will apply your learning from lesson two into physical activities. To
Review, here are the movements and their categories:

Basic Locomotor (traveling) Movements are: • Walk • Stretching


• Run • Twisting
• Leap • Swing
• Hop • Sway
• Jump • Contracting.
Variations of Locomotor patterns are: • Skip. • Pulling
• Gallop • Pushing
• Slide • Turning
Non-Locomotor or Axial Movements: • Bend

Direction: Create or combine locomotor and non-locomotor as your initial movement patterns. Write down at
least 10 combination with 16 counts. Execute combination when doing the activity before you write it down so
you‘ll be sure that it is done artistically.

Example: Walk in each of the the 4 directions for 8 counts each and raise the arms overhead and sway the
arms like a swaying in a breeze in 8 counts.

1. Stretch your legs 8 counts after that jump as high as you can in your position 8 counts
2. While in front of the wall twist your whole upper body 8 counts to stretch your muscles after
that push the wall 8 times like a line man in american football.
3. In a basketball court stretch your legs 8 counts after that run from the endline to the other
endline eight times.
4. Turn your head side by side 8 counts then Walk slowly 8 counts
5. Bend my legs 8 counts side by side then run as fast as you can 8 counts by going forward and
going back to your original position.
6. Twist your upper body side by side 8 counts then walk to the 4 directions 8 counts
7. Twist your hips side by side 8 counts then pull the wheel eight counts
8. Swing your arms 8 counts to know the proper form for jumping. Then jump 8 counts until you
get tired.
9. Swing your arms 8 counts then hop 8 counts .
10. Bend your legs 8 counts to stretch your leg muscles then slide forward and sideward 8 counts
