every person, family, school, business, or community at one time or another regardless of age, gender, race, religion, or socio economic status. People who are victim of bullying experience mental health problems and it lower their self-esteem. Others have aggressive effects which often result to anxiety, depression, and worst, suicide. Bullying is a crime because people may not be physically abuse but victims are mentally abused. As they say, words are sharp that can damage someone's feeling. Bullying is indeed a serious issue that our country needs to address. In the Philippines, latest national data show that cyberviolence affects almost half of children aged 13-171. The prevalence of cyberviolence for males (44 per cent) is almost the same for females (43 per cent). With this statistics mentioned, it is therefore imperative to implement laws to address this serious issue in our country.
