Heat at a temperature of 40 + 10 °C, folloved by cooling in oil. (b) Tempering. Heat unifgrmly at a temperature between 450 °C and 660 °C, folloved by cooling in air. MECHANICAL PROPERTIES 7.1 Hardening cost, The hardness shall be not less. than 500 HY 7.2 Tests in che condition of supply.
