SUBJECT: Battery tray plates adjustment

Models affected: MR14/MR16/MR16N/MR16HD/MR20/MR20HD/MR25 (D849)

Reason: Troubleshooting instruction

Technical Description

Please be informed that in the models mentioned above and in cases where the mast trolley is not
moving outwards, after standard troubleshooting as indicated in the Truck Service Manual has been
carried out, an additional possible cause could be the incorrect mounting of the battery tray plates
(see Item A in the diagram below).

In some cases the incorrect mounting of these plates can cause an obstruction, which prevents the
battery from sliding over the battery tray rollers.

If the issue is still present after carrying out the checks above, please contact the Warehousing
Product Support Group using the Contact Management system.
