On Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) IN SCHOOL (WINS)

School Year 2021-2022

Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) IN SCHOOL (WINS) is a DepEd Program that
focuses on the standards for promoting on a clean and safe school environment as well as
proper hygiene and sanitation practices among students and it is implemented for the
preparation of face to face classes.The purpose of this program is to provide a secure and
conducive learning environment in the classroom ,allowing children to engage and learn in
the best possible way.

Clean water ,functional toilets,wash stands and proper hygiene practise in school are
essential to achieving learning outcomes and are integral to school operation and
improvement as stated in Deped order no.10” Policy and guidelines for the comprehensive
Water Sanitation and Hygiene(WASH) in Schools (WINS) Program”.

As a result of that program , I sought contribution and sponsor from the donation of
the HRPTA for the accomplishment of the said project.
