“The danger of the past was that men became slaves.

The danger of the future is that men may

become robots.”
Response: We live in the 21st century and robots in our lives are now part of our routine and
not a wonder. In previous years, robots were considered supernatural, and stories about them
could only be found on the pages of fantastic books and magazines; however, robots are no
longer considered unusual and can be found everywhere. We must understand that robots are
nothing compared to human genius. Robots are only helpers in our lives, nothing more, and we
need to understand this. Indeed, because of robots, more and more new technologies are being
invented by people to make their lives easier.

“In the future, when machines and robots become more human-like, with all the attendant
feelings and thoughts, people may also have to consider the ethical treatment for AI.”
Response: The ethical treatment of AI in robotics should be considered in the future, as
machines and robots grow more human-like, because it will garner major publicity in the future,
which benefits both people and technology, but may also end up damaging it. We should speak
as if the evolution of computers and robots to become more human-like is only a foreshadowing
of what future technology will bring, and as if we already know what will be the most offensive.
