Criteria for Applicants for the Certification Examination as Registered

Microbiologist (RMicro)
A. Must have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree
B. Must have taken at least 24 units of microbiology courses which can include Thesis,
Special Problem, and Practicum in microbiology. (A certification from the adviser mustbe
secured for any of the latter 3)
C. Must submit hard and soft copies of the following.

1. accomplished application form

2. transcript of records/true copy of grades
3. copy of diploma or certification of graduation
4. one recent 2 x 2 photo
5. proof of payment of the required application fee of three thousand pesos (Php
3,000)deposited to the PAM PNB account number: 246470000865
6. For re-examinees, only the letter pertaining to the previous exam result should
besubmitted together with the accomplished application form.

Applicants who pass the preliminary evaluation by the PAM Certification Board (CBd) shall pay
the required examination fee of two thousand pesos (Php 2,000). Conditional passers /re-takers
are required to pay only the examination fee.
