Main Idea: Displacement of an object is the actual measure of the difference between the initial
position up to the final destination.
Directions: Read the situation below and follow what is being ask. Avoid erasures.

1. From your house, you drove 5 km north, and then stop at a nearby gas station for refuelling. You then

travel 3 km in the same direction until you realized that you forget to get your change from the
cashier, and so you drove back to the gas station. What is your total distance travelled and
displacement? Make a sketch to accompany your analysis.
