Mark out the holes for the GPRS/GSM antenna (+ Satelite antenna if being mounted) on the cab roof. Clamp the antenna cables from the GPS/GPRS antenna behind the radio console (fig 4) and route the cables down behind the rear RH cab post. Clamp the cables to the post, See figure 5. To ease fiting of the W-ECU: remove the RH side protec- tion from the cab. 16 Mark out and drill mounting holes in the side protection. See figure 9 and 10. 21 Connect the cable hamess artnr 11171793, connector to the W+ECU. See figure 9, 10 and 11 22. Route and clamp the cable harness from the WHECU to the electrical distrubution panel See figures 11 Remove the existing connector marked VP (VcadsPro) in the electrical distribution panel Insert the female contact from the CareTrack cable hamess to where the VP connector was fied. Ensure that the con- necter is are fully inserted and locked home. Connect the removed VP connector to the female connec- tor on the cable hamess. Connect the cabel ar.nr 11170857,connector to pin P1. Con- rect the cable connector to the positive (red) and refit the ‘screw. Connect the (black) connector to the earth shown in the right ofthe figure.See figure 14. NOTEII Only the 5A fuse are used for CareTrack. The ‘other fuse holder and relay holder are for other and future options. 28 Fit the Redi/Gray cable from cable hamess 11171793, ‘marked "Fuse 64/P2" to pin P2 on the fuseholder , Fuse 5A, 29. Refit the cover to the electrical distribution panel, and the interior trim to the cab post. Note! ‘When the bracket and satelite antenna have been mounted, censure that the antenna and the bracket are earthed property to the rest of the machine. Using VeadsPro, cary out operation 39797-3 "CareTrack status check’ to confirm GPS, GPRS (8 Satelite) antenna function and signal strength When registering the machine on the CareTrack web site, make sure the machine is outdoors and the ignition key is in the running position for approximately 30 minutes, to allow the correct transfer of set-up data between the machine and the CareTrack system. Register the option No 83925 (GSM) or 83926 (GSM & SAT) on the machine card
