Walk pack – printed copies of the walks can be bought at reception – 20p per copy
Walk number 1 – start from Tigh Mor – 5 miles total. Head around Loch Achray to Brig ‘o’
Turk and back. The Brig ‘o’ Turk Tearoom open Thursday to Sunday 9-5 and can be visited
during this walk.
Loch Katrine boat trips – Lady of the Lake:
10.15am / 11.30am / 12.45pm / 2pm – 1 hour cruises

Tigh Mor toward Aberfoyle:


Lodge visitor centre and Go Ape – access from the A821 Dukes Pass road toward Aberfoyle.
Café open daily. Red Squirrel hide located here – Queen Elizabeth Forest park leaflet
recommended with all walk routes. Can be found on the book case in the Family Room or at
the visitor centre.

Callander:
Co-Op and Tesco Express, petrol station at other end of the village and fast electric car

Bracklinn Falls:
Bridge over falls is closed but can still view – follow Callander main street past the Co-Op on
your right and next left turn is signposted for Bracklinn Falls.
Thornhill & Kippen:
Flanders Moss – preserved peat bog just beyond Thornhill – boardwalk through peat bog
with birds and flowers – beautiful view of surrounding mountains.
The Woodhouse – just before Kippen – good food and coffee – no booking required.
Doune:
Scottish Arts and Antique Centre – located on the A84 about a mile before Doune village –
open daily 9am to 5pm – lots of interesting items and Café Circa – good rainy day option!

Deanston Distillery outside Doune village – café and shop and tastings open. No date for
