(Generic)
1. Please list the teaching processes (strategies, structures, or techniques) you used
in this lesson.
Nicole utilized the following teaching processes:
- Class organization - Journaling
- Random call cards - Jigsaw
- Unscramble - Mnemonic
- Think-pair-share - Acronym
- Three minute pause - Graphic Organizer

2. What went well (pleased you, made you happy)?

What went well for Nicole is that she was able to get over her fears presenting
the micro-teaching lesson. She was happy to have implemented the structures and
strategies in the micro-teaching lesson as it will give her an idea of how to use the
structures and strategies to develop cooperative learning in her classroom as she
transits into the teaching profession. She is happy for the opportunity to practice and
apply these skills.

3. What would you do differently if you had to do it again? Please be specific.

If Nicole had to do it again, she would rehearse the micro-teaching lesson a
day or night before presentation in her spare time to become more familiar with the
steps and processes of these strategies and structures to develop cooperative learning.
She would also take the time to plan effectively in order to better develop and present
the activities in the lesson in order to enhance learning. Nicole also would use more
strategies in the micro-lesson.

4. Any questions or comments for the professors?

Nicole indicated that the micro-teaching activity allowed her to see if she was
on the right track when implementing the activity in a real-life classroom setting, even
though many times she was unaware if she was actually doing the right thing. She
finds it a pleasure to participate in the activity and she intends to keep doing it until
she gets the hang of it. As a result of the experience, Nicole feels confident in her
ability to create a memorable classroom experience in the future with the skills and
knowledge garnered from the class.
