Question no 3: Why and How Makak was arrested?

Answer:

Makak was a main character of this play or protagonist reason behind that Makak was in the jail
because he claimed that he was an important person and raise curtain problems in a caffe that’s
why he was arrested and went to the jail .Tiger and Spirits are the two persons who were already in
the jail.

Corporal westrade was another person who was an agent of white man and ask some important
questions from Makak or in the simple we can say that they are working for white man.He is
controlling the Jail.

Tiger,serious were the judges while corpural was a lawyer.A trial held in jail because when corporal
asked Makak what happened in caffe Makak said “I forgets all” . Makak only told one thing that he
claims about “A vision of White Goddess”. A beautiful woman fair in colour look like white Goddess.

Makak and mostire are great friends. He was a person who could not believe on dream saw by
Makak. Makak says that he was a king lion warrior in his dream.When he comes out of his dream he
come to know that his real name is Felix Hobain not Makak.

Makak wishesbto get rid of white people and that was a dream of every colonized people. Drama
shows post colonial desires of people.

Makak was a monkey but in real he is a man named Hobain and treated like human.
