NOTIFICATION

COMMON ENTRANCE TEST – IMU-CET

1. With reference to the DGS Training Circular No. 14 of 2021 dated

13.05.2021, it is hereby informed to all desirous candidates that:
IMU shall conduct a Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET) for
admissions to the various courses offered in IMU Campuses and
Affiliated Institutes as indicated below for the Academic Year 2021-
22.
a) IMU Campuses – Chennai, Kolkata, Kochi, Navi Mumbai,
Mumbai Port & Vishakhapatnam &
b) IMU’s Affiliated Institutes (List is available in IMU’s website under ‘Affiliated

Institutes’).

2. All other Maritime Training Institutes (MTIs) that are not affiliated to
IMU may follow their own admission process for the Year 2021-22.
3. Candidates desirous of seeking admissions to various courses of IMU
& its Affiliated Institutes may register for IMU-CET, link of which will
be available in IMU's website from 29.07.2021.
4. IMU-CET will be conducted on 29.08.2021 through “online Proctored
Mode’’. However, IMU reserves the right to change the date or cancel
the CET in the event of COVID-19 pandemic.
5. Details regarding courses offered, eligibility criteria and other
relevant details will be available in the Academic Brochure 2021-22
floated on 29.07.2021 in IMU’s website.
