The Police dismantles a neo-Nazi group that attacked an

LGTBI headquarters: "This country must be cleaned"

28/January/2022/ Spain

After two years listening to their phone conversations, reading the messages on their internal
channels, they had accumulated enough material to ascertain the group's intentions. They had
things clear: "We have to clean this country," they repeated over and over again. They were
between 50 and 60 years old, most without a job or trade. Their time was largely dedicated to
pouring out their hatred towards the LGTBI collective, towards foreigners, all kinds of foreigners,
and planning all kinds of violent actions.

Two years after beginning to investigate them, the National Police has dismantled this
organization of Nazi supremacist ideology whose members were grouped in different cells
scattered throughout the country with the aim of perpetrating various attacks and thus
"subverting the constitutional order."

One of these actions was completed last October 2021. It happened when they stormed the
headquarters of the LGTBI collective in Alcoy (Alicante). There they burned the flag with the colors
of Pride and part of the access stairs to the offices.

The next day, a series of photocopies or card-sized leaflets appeared at the headquarters door
with a drawing of the Nazi eagle holding the yoke and arrows, a symbol extolled during the Franco
dictatorship. A phrase finished off the pages: "Against separatism and its accomplices."

In total, seven people have been arrested. Four of them were arrested in Barcelona. Another one
in Torrejón de Ardoz. Two more in Alcoy and Onteniente (Alicante). They are being investigated for
their participation in hate crimes, illegal possession of weapons, insults to State Institutions and
belonging to a criminal group.

Even when they were arrested by the agents, they did not stop repeating the neo-Nazi slogans
that they had crowed for years while the investigators listened to them on the other side of the
line: "What we do not want is that these people are in our country." All of them made up a
cohesive group, united through social networks. Their goal was to incite hatred and extreme
violence against groups of all kinds, whom they considered their rivals, their adversaries and their
enemies.
Police found drugs, alcohol and weapons at a minor's party ,

In a dirty, bad-looking place, the smell of vice and alcohol were mixed. That was the
scenario that the authorities found last Sunday around 1:30 in the morning, in a place in
the Las Delicias neighborhood, in Manizales, where a clandestine party was taking place.

Upon entering, officials from the Government Secretariat and the Police for Children and
Adolescents found approximately 60 people inside the business, including 39 adolescents,
aged between 14 and 17 years.

Ricardo Germán Gallo Benavides, secretary in charge of the Government, pointed out that
it is being investigated if it is a commercial establishment, since they demanded the
documents from the owner, but she refused to deliver them, for which they imposed a
subpoena and appear before an inspection to determine the penalty

The young offenders were transferred to the Reception Center for Minors, where the
procedures were carried out to return them to their parents. Those who did not pick up
their guardians were released around 6:00 in the morning.

Colonel José Arturo Sánchez, operational security commander of the Metropolitan Police,
reported that six white weapons, alcoholic beverages, doses of marijuana and coca base
were seized. He concluded that parents will have to attend a pedagogical course and could
be subject to a fine
Gallo Benavides regretted the situation, as he maintained that even a minor physically
attacked his mother when he went to pick him up. Apparently, he was under the influence
of psychoactive substances and the intervention of the Police was necessary."If parents do
not exercise discipline in that role, the future of these boys will be unfortunate," the
secretary claimed.
Trump 'probably' committed a felony by obstructing Congress:
judge 28/03/2022

Los Angeles, March 28 (EFE) .- A federal judge in California, United States ruled this Monday that
the now former US president Donald Trump "probably" committed a serious crime by trying to
obstruct the work of Congress when he tried to undermine the 2020 elections on January 6,
2021.Judge David Carter of the Central District Court of California issued his written opinion
ordering that 101 confidential emails from Trump ally John Eastman be turned over to the
Congressional committee investigating the U.S. Capitol attack by Trump. Trump supporters last
year.
“Based on the evidence, the Court finds that President Trump most likely attempted to corruptly
obstruct the Joint Session of Congress on January 6, 2021,” Carter said.

He said that the plan that Eastman helped develop was obviously illegal and that then-President
Trump (2017-2021) knew about it at the time.

The opinion of Carter, who was appointed by now former President Bill Clinton (1993-2001),
represents a milestone in the history of justice in the United States by indicating that a sitting
president "probably" committed a crime.

On March 2, the committee's investigators presented a document in which they point out that
Eastman and Trump committed two possible crimes: conspiracy to defraud the United States and
obstruction of an official congressional process.

They indicate that both worked together to try to convince then-Vice President Mike Pence to
block the certification of the Electoral College votes in the January 6, 2021 session of Congress
and, therefore, the victory of the current president, Joe Biden, in November 2020 elections.

To that end, the committee has requested access to documents and summoned Trump allies to
testify, who in some cases have refused to cooperate, which has caused former presidential
adviser Steve Bannon to be charged with criminal contempt.

Although the committee does not have the power to file criminal charges, it plans to release a
report on its investigation, which could be forwarded to the Justice Department for possible
criminal prosecution. EFE
