OPENING PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

We come to you today asking for your guidance, wisdom, and support as we
begin this meeting.
Help us engage in meaningful discussion; allow us to grow closer as a group
and nurture the bonds of community.
Fill us with your grace, Lord God, as we make decisions that might affect our
church and, continue to remind us that all that we do here today, all that we
accomplish, is for the the pursuit of truth, for the greater glory of you, and for
the service of humanity.

As this General Assembly meets,let your Spirit rule, so that our church be
joined in love and service to Jesus Christ.
We ask these things in your name. AMEN.

CLOSING PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

We want to thank you for being with us throughout this meeting. Your
presence has been in this place from the start to the end. Thank you for
leading us through the meeting, we shared ideas and may you help us to
achieve them to bring glory to you.

Lord, as we leave this place, let us go out there and be the salt and light. May
we put into practice what we have discussed and learned. Help us to make a
difference in this world for the glory of your name. In Jesus’ name, we believe
and pray, Amen.
