BACKGROUND
Social organization is the system of relationships between persons and among
groups with regard to the division of activity and the functional arrangement of
mutual obligations within society. In order to work effectively in a culturally
and ethnically diverse community, a community builder needs first to
understand how each racial and ethnic group in that community is organized in
order to support its members.

The CALA, has two separate parts, Part A and Part B. You need to complete
both parts
Part A
Research on the social organization of your community. In your research
include interviews, questionnaire to gather information. Make recordings of
your findings on the social organization of your community.
Part B
Using the information in Part A make an illustration on the advantages and
importance of social organization you have identified. Write notes on your
research.

HOW YOU WILL ASSESED

To assess your presentation, facilitator will consider your research materials and
explanations about your illustrations.
Achievement standards specific to this CALA will be provided so that you are
aware of the assessment criteria
