Dear Austin,

I’m contacting you as the president of the Hungarian Elvis Club.

We’ve been following the production of the new Elvis movie with attention and great
enthusiasm since the very first news came out. We were really excited about the choice of the
leading actor.
Before the premiere we’d watched interviews with you through which we could get a glimpse
of your captivating personality, deep-rooted honesty, your humility and love toward Elvis.
With your theatrical performance you wound your way into our heart for good and we can’t
help but rewatch the movie over and over again. It’s simply great to be in the aura of the
movie.

Priscilla Presley put it well: you aren’t just playing Elvis, you ARE Elvis – at least on the
movie screen. We are extremely grateful for your performance, and we would like to give
back a little bit from what we’ve been getting from you.
For this reason, we would be glad to guide you around in Budapest or in any other parts of the
country, as we have done with Charlie Hodge (in 1985), Joe Esposito and Joe Guerico (in
2011).

We know that in preparation for the role, you dug deep in Elvis’s biography, but perhaps you
haven’t yet been informed about the fact that Elvis is an honorary citizen of Budapest and
even a park has been named after him in the city, on the Danube bank. We would be pleased
to show you the park and tell you the story about how Elvis earned this title.
Also, an annual candlelit commemoration is held at the park for Elvis’s death anniversary on
August 16., and it would be our pleasure to welcome you to our event.

Our club was founded 40 years ago, in 1982, and we’ve been taking care of Elvis Presley’s
memory with great love ever since. As I mentioned before, we have already welcomed and
guided Charlie Hodge, Joe Esposito and Joe Guerico in Budapest, we’ve also had the chance
to talk to James Burton, Glenn D. Hardin, Ronnie Tutt, and we were happy to be able to thank
Priscilla Presley at a led screen concert for her lifelong work of keeping Elvis’s legacy alive.

We would be delighted to welcome you in Budapest and to have a chance of thanking you in
person for the unique experience that your performance means to us and to the “Elvis world”
and for your role in lifting Elvis’s personality and legacy to a worthy place.

Elvisly Yours,

Judit Spaczér
President of Elvis Presley Fan Club Hungary
