What is your study all about?


ANSWER: our study is based on governments banner program for education as
a salient part of the implementation of the k to 12 basic education program
which is the MTB-MLE and how teachers implement the said Curriculum.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THAT TOPIC?


ANSWER:
WHETHER FORMAL OR NON-FORMAL EDUCATION MOTHER TONGUE AND
ADDITIONAL LANGUAGES ARE USED IN THE CLASSROOM AND AS A FUTURE
TEACHER WE SHOULD KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH OR IMPLEMENT THE SAID
LEARNING AREA PROPERLY AND EFFECTIVELY.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF YOUR STUDY?


ANSWER:
OUR STUDY HAS A PURPOSE AND MAYBE BENEFICIAL TO THE FOLLOWING:

 POLICYMAKERS OF DEPED
- TO STRENGTHEN THEIR SUPPORT IN FORMULATING PLANS AND ACTIVITIES
THAT WILL HELP ADDRESS SOME PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY THE TEACHERS.

• TEACHERS - IT WILL HELP THEM DETERMINE THE PROBLEMS


ENCOUNTERED IN THE K-12 CURRICULUM AND LIKEWISE HELP THEM
DEVISE THE NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS IN FACILITATING
INSTRUCTION.
•STUDENTS - IT WILL GIVE THEM BETTER INSIGHTS ON THE VALUE OF
EDUCATION AND THE VALUE OF BEING PERSISTENT IN ACHIEVING ONE'S GOAL.

• PARENTS - THIS WILL MAKE THEM APPRECIATE THE VITAL IMPORTANCE OF


THEIR PARTICIPATIVE PARTNERSHIP ROLE WITH THE SCHOOL IN
TRANSFORMING THE EXISTING EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM SO AS TO MAKING IT
BETTER, RELEVANT AND COMPETITIVE.

What are the limitations of your study?


ANSWER:
Our study is limited to the profile of the respondents in relation to the
problems they encounter in teaching primary grade level.

• What type of research did you use?


ANSWER:
WE use descriptive method on our study because basically it seeks and
describes something out there such as status.

What research design did you use in your study?


Answer: Our study has a research design that is concerned with numbers and
its relationship with events, a quantitative research.
• Why did you use this research design?
Answer: We utilized QUANTITATIVE Research design because of its
appropriateness to the problem in which we use statistical analysis method to
determine relationships between variables.

What sampling technique did you use in selecting the participants of your
study?
ANSWER: we use purposive sampling method a type of non-probability.

What are the research instruments used in gathering data?


ANSWER: Survey questionnaire

What is the objective of your study?


ANSWER: The objective of our study is to assess the teaching strategies in
mother tongue based multilingual education in Iriga Central School during
school year 2019-2020.

How did you choose the reference for your review of related literature?
ANSWER: We use a 10-year rule, because we think it is the most relevant for
our study.

SCOPE AND DELIMITATION


This study identifies the perception of Primary Level Teachers of Iriga Central
School.
> We wish to identify how does the primary teachers of ICS perceived the
implementation of MTB. And also, we wish to determine their strategies in
teaching MTB as a Medium of instruction and as a Learning Area.

The study is also limited to the demographic profile of the respondents in


relation to the problems they encounter in teaching the primary grade level.
> We have 28 respondents, a primary teacher of ICS.

It seeks to determine how adequate and efficient their resources are in terms
of instructional materials, classroom management and facilities.
> Our study will determine if the teacher’s resources are enough to effectively
and efficiently sustain the teaching and learning process. For example, BOOKS:
how useful the books for the teachers.

The study also focused on finding out if there is a significant difference on the
perceptions of Primary Grade Teachers of Iriga Central School.
